Vevo is a music video network on YouTube. It doesn’t take uploads from artists, only from distributors like us, so we apply for your channel and send your videos for you.
A channel costs $49.99 once, and your first video upload is included.
Before you start
Have your first video ready. If you don’t have one yet, a visualizer over your cover art counts as a video.
You’ll pay by card at the last step.
Apply for your channel
In the menu on the left, select Tools.
Select the VEVO Channels card.
At the top of the page, select Start your channel →.
Select the artist. We’ll suggest a channel name. Check that it ends in VEVO and matches the artist’s name, like YOURNAMEVEVO. We check it as you type. A name that doesn’t match the artist is the most common reason Vevo says no. The live preview shows how fans will see your channel.
Select Continue.
Select the country where the artist is based, then select Continue.
Check the summary: channel, artist, country, and price. Then select Pay $49.99 & launch and pay by card.
After you pay
We review your channel and send it to Vevo, and we email you at every step. Vevo usually approves a channel in about 5 business days.
You can follow your channels under Your channels on the Vevo page. Once a channel is live, the top of the page shows your subscribers, how many videos are live, and how long it’s been since your last upload.
