What’s a Topic Channel?
When you send music to stores through Spare Music, YouTube automatically creates a Topic Channel for your artist name. Your releases appear there as videos that YouTube makes for you. You don’t create or manage this channel directly.
What’s an Official Artist Channel?
An Official Artist Channel (OAC) is a verified channel for your artist name. Your own channel, where you upload videos, is separate from your Topic Channel. When you get an OAC, YouTube links the two, so your music videos and releases are in one place.
To apply, read our Official Artist Channel guide.
