A release is a single, EP, or album. Your draft saves every time you select Continue, so you can leave at any point and come back.
Before you start
You’ll need:
Cover art: a square JPEG or PNG, at least 2000 × 2000 pixels.
Audio: your final master as a WAV or FLAC file, at least 16-bit and 44.1 kHz.
1. Start the release
Select + Create release at the top right. Enter a title, choose Single, EP, or Album, and choose your label. Then select Start the release.
2. Add release details
Add your cover art, artists, genre, language, and release date. If Continue is grayed out, the bar at the bottom shows what’s missing.
3. Add your tracks
Drag your audio files in and put them in order. Open each track to add its details and credits. Every track needs to show Ready before you can continue.
4. Choose your stores
Every store is selected to start with, unless your team has changed its defaults. Clear any you don’t want, and enable any add-ons you want.
5. Review and send
Check everything on the Review page, then select the confirmation box. Select Send for review. Our team reviews your release, usually within 2 business days, and then we send it to stores.
Once you send a release, any changes need a new review.
