A release that's ready is less likely to be delayed or rejected. Check these before you send your first release for review.
Cover art. A sharp JPEG or PNG, square, at least 2000 × 2000 pixels. The only text is your artist name and release title. No famous people (unless you have the rights), barcodes, QR codes, store logos, or phrases like "New Single," "Out Now," or prices. See Artwork guidelines.
Audio. Your final master only (no demos or rough mixes), as WAV or FLAC at 16-bit 44.1kHz or higher. No silence longer than 5 seconds at the start or end.
AI and samples. Tell us about any samples or generative AI on each track. Stores have their own rules, and leaving something out can lead to a rejection or your music being removed from stores. See Tell us about AI and samples.
Credits. List every writer, performer, and producer, each with the right role. Accurate credits help royalties go to the right people. See Add track credits.
Release date. Leave at least 2 weeks. See Choose your release date.
