When you upload a track to Spare Music, we’ll automatically assign it an ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) if you don’t already have one. This unique identifier helps track your recording across stores and platforms.
You may need your ISRC for:
Your own records
Pitching to certain stores
Registering for publishing royalties
Here's how you'll find the ISRC:
Go to My Library and navigate to the release that contains your track.
Click the “Tracks” tab at the top of the page.
Find your track and click “Show Details.” Your ISRC is displayed here.
ISRCs are assigned as soon as you submit a release so will be available anytime after you submit a release to Spare Music.
