How to fix your music appearing on the wrong profile

Music appearing on the wrong store or someone else's release on your profile? We've got you covered!

If your music is appearing on the wrong artist profile or someone else’s releases are appearing on your profile, you can submit a Store Link Correction request through Spare Music.

Follow the steps below to ensure your request is processed correctly.

Submitting a Store Link Correction Request

  1. Go to the Store Fixer Tool

    • Log in to your Spare Music account.

    • Navigate to Tools and click on Store Fixer.

  2. Select the Type of Update

    • Choose one of the following options:

      • Music appearing on the wrong profile – Select this if your release has been placed under the wrong artist profile.

      • Someone else’s music is on my profile – Select this if another artist’s release is incorrectly appearing on your profile.

  3. Select the Artist for the Request

    • Use the dropdown menu to select the artist profile that the request pertains to.

  4. Select the Store

    • Choose the store where the issue is occurring.

    • If the issue appears across multiple stores, you need to submit a separate request for each store.

  5. Specify If a New Profile Is Needed (Only for music appearing on the wrong profile)

    • If your release needs to be placed under a brand-new artist profile, select Yes when prompted.

  6. Provide the Correct Profile Information (Only if a new profile is required)

    • Enter the correct artist profile where the releases should appear.

  7. Submit the Store Links to Be Moved

    • Copy and paste all relevant store links that need to be corrected.

Processing Time

All requests are reviewed by our team within 24 - 48 hours however, it can take stores up to 3 months to process requests and apply changes.
