How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Add an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a code from your authentication app when you sign in.

Enabling Two-Factor

  1. Click your profile picture in the top-right corner and select Account Settings.
    ​

  2. In the Password & 2FA section, click Enable Two-Factor Authentication.

  3. A QR code will appear — open your preferred two-factor authentication app (for example, Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password) and scan the QR code.

  4. Your app will generate a 6-digit code. Enter that code into Spare Music, then click Enable Two-Factor Authentication to confirm.

  5. You’ll see a confirmation message once it’s successfully enabled.

Tip: If possible, save your backup codes in a safe place. You’ll need them if you lose access to your authentication app.
