How do I find my Channel ID on YouTube?

You'll need both your Topic Channel and Owned Channel ID. Here's how to find that information on YouTube!

Updated over 10 months ago

When requesting an Official Artist Channel through Spare Music, we'll ask you to provide a Channel ID for your Topic Channel and also your Owned Channel. They can be a little tricky to find so here's where they're located.

  1. Head to the channel you need the Channel ID for on YouTube. Once you're on the channel, click the "Links" section on the channel. This is usually located under the channel name and description.

  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the pop-up and click "Share Channel" followed by "Copy Channel ID". If you can't see this button, you'll need to scroll past the channel description and social links.

  3. Paste this Channel ID into the form in the correct field. You'll need to complete this process for the Topic Channel.
