Change your password
You’ll need your current password.
Select your picture at the top right, then Account settings.
Select the Security tab. Under Change password, enter your Current password.
Enter a new password in New password, then again in Confirm it. Use 12 or more characters. A password manager can create one for you.
Select Update password.
You stay signed in. Next time, sign in with your new password and your two-factor code, if you’ve turned it on.
You may see Check your current password and try again. even when your current password is right. Look for the red text under the boxes:
Current password does not match the password entered. Enter your current password again.
The password field confirmation does not match. Enter the same new password in both boxes.
Reset a forgotten password
On the sign in page, select Forgot your password?
Enter the email address you use for Spare Music and select Request Reset.
Open the email from us and follow the link to set a new password. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.
If you see Please wait before retrying., wait a little before you ask for another email.
